You said "I want a bigger kitchen knife", we answered.  This is a large knife for cutting and chopping.  Buy it now, you'll love it.  This knife is available in 5/32" 80crv2 carbon steel and 1/8" AEB-L stainless steel.

This is a knife blank, meaning that it's a thick piece of metal cut in the shape of a knife; it isn't sharp and there is no handle.  Your job is to turn it into a beautiful knife. 

We highly recommend using our AEB-L stainless option for our kitchen knives. The stainless will offer better corrosion resistance and last longer in the kitchen. Otherwise we still offer our 80crv2 which is still a good all around steel option.

All knife quality steels are annealed to make shaping your knife easier. Steel will need to be heat treated(hardened) in order to keep an edge.
